'DOES THE JOB....AND DOES IT WELL'
Strengths:
Light, reasonably absorbent and I find it is quick drying.
Weaknesses:
Has a weird feel to it but you do get used to it
Overall:
I have the larger towel and it packs away nicely and takes up little room, had it over a year and it don't smell at all. Very happy with it.

'GARBAGE'
Strengths:
Packs down small, gets you dry(ish).
Weaknesses:
Price. Once it's wet it stays wet - no way can this sorry article be described as quick drying. Less than a year old and it's already starting to disintegrate.
Overall:
One of the most ill-advised purchases I've ever made - not least because it was bought as a replacement for the original Lifeventure TrekTowel which was also crap. A couple of cotton tea-towels in a mesh stuffsac would be a much cheaper and probably more practical alternative.

'ESSENTIAL KIT FOR US SWEATY HOGS!'
Strengths:
massively absorbent, yet ultra-light and packs down small. Easy to clean and maintain, dries out in no time.
Weaknesses:
doesn't feel as soft and comfortable as a standard cotton towel, although it's something you quickly get used to.
Overall:
As I can break into a sweat simply by eating my breakfast, I needed something absorbent and quick-drying to mop my brow when out walking, particularly in the summer. I bought a small version of the trek towel and it's now the first thing that goes in my pack. I also intend to try a larger sized one for camping trips. Invaluable.
