'NOT VERY WATERPROOF'
Strengths:
Warm and windproof.
Weaknesses:
Not breathable and soak up water like a sponge. After an hour of rain I can wring water from mine.
Overall:
There are better gloves out there.

'LET DOWN BY BREATHABILITY.'
Strengths:
Keep hands nice and warm even when the lining is damp, very waterproof,
Weaknesses:
These gloves stop breathing after about an hour or so walking.
Overall:
Overall i'm pleased with these gloves not leased because they're the first gloves i've worn that don't freeze your fingers off.

On first wearing they become immediatley warm and stay that way until it's time to remove them.

'OK AS A CHEAP OPTION'
Strengths:
Surprisingly warm in a variety of conditions but if the snow is at all wet they do start to get soggy quite quickly.
Weaknesses:
Not the best thing in soggy conditions.
Overall:
Though I only used them about a dozen times last winter they were grand with a pair of thinnies underneath.
