'IT'S BETTER THAN JUST DRINKING WATER!'
Strengths:
Convenient package size as it makes up 2 litres which is perfect for a hydration pack.
Reasonable taste and although sweet it wasn't too sweet for me and it has a farly refreshing "tang".
No apparent signs of a sugar "rush" followed by a downer.
Weaknesses:
The price at £1.50 is not cheap.
Unless you have a wide mouth hydration bottle then mixing needs to be done first before carefully pouring in.
It leaves a very sticky residue and takes some washing out of reservoirs and drink tubes.
Overall:
I have recently tried it in training and for a 30 mile mountain bike challenge. Compared to last year when I took water and also some supermarket brand made up fruit squash, along with cereal bars to eat. I did seem to notice a difference in that you don't seem to get that sugar burst of energy followed by a tough, downer period. I also didn't suffer from cramping the same as last year, and I completed the same course 20 minutes quicker this year. For me there might have been some psychological benefit as well because it is supposed to work isn't it?

'NOT BAD AT ALL!!!!!!!!'
Strengths:
The correct mix of electrolytes etc (saves mixing orange juice, water and salt and geting it wrong!!!) does make a difference to your stamina, especially if at altitude where keeing hydrated is your most important job. No up and down experienced with sugary products.
Weaknesses:
Not that easy to mix, especially in a Platypus bladder. You need to put in a little water, thoroughly shake and mix, then top up.
Overall:
Does make a difference, good selection of flavours on the SIS website. Delivery always correct and prompt.
