| 'PERFECT FOR MODERATE WEATHER' | | Strengths: comfy ,windproof (to a degree),water resistant (to a degree),warm ,good fit, breathes really well, packs down really small | | Weaknesses: no hood,IMO all softshells should have a hood | | Overall: i really liked this top ,i only bought it because my brother came to visit from holland to go to ben nevis ,and he had got no equipment /clothing what so ever ,so i lent him mine and was an excuse to go shopping.
its really comfy ,and kept me warm and dry most f the way up ,and we had some crappy weather and it was summer, only at the top did i need to put on another layer when we were sat down in a howling wind and down pour.
the only thing that lets it down is lack of hood ,but that goes for most soft shell tops ,,why manufactures dont design them with hoods is plain dumb ,the material is designed to keep out the elements to a degree ,but doesnt protect one of the most important parts of the body |
