'TASTY, COMPACT, BUNDLE OF ENERGY'
Strengths:
Provides a quick energy boost when you start to flag. Nice and chewy, so it also gives the impression of eating something substantial. Banana flavour preferred to apple & blackcurrant. The chocolate & orange are reputably good too. Take up little room in your pack, so also good to carry as emergency food.
Weaknesses:
Felt a bit acidy on the stomach about an hour after eating, but that was probably due to having an otherwise empty stomach. Can cost up to £2 in some shops.
Overall:
I've not tried many other energy bars, so can't give comparison, but they keep you going for a lot longer than muesli bars and flapjacks. Good value if you can find them for £1.

'THE WRAPPER LOOKED APPEALING'
Strengths:
A boost of energy i suppose but at a cost! Good jaw exercise should that be a requirement.
Weaknesses:
Frankly these were so tasty that the wrapper began to look like a good option. The orange and chocolate were well worse i suppose is the best way to put it.
Overall:
A friend brought some on our trip trying to be "helpful" needless to say after we tried one he had to carry the rest for the entire 5 day trek. I think he also had some sort of alergic reaction to them altogether not a good experience!

'EXPENSIVE TASTY TREATS'
Strengths:
Tasty
Weaknesses:
expensive! I mean very expensive you could go down to asda and buy a big pack of chocholate flapjacks for the price of these. Not much difference in performance to other cheaper options
Overall:
If you are going on a trip with new food you would shurely have a try of it first so then you know if its worth taking!
Energy bars a funny things, there expensive, gooey, impossible to eat while excercising, and gerenrally alot of hype but not much results.
For the money I would look at other cheaper alternatives like bananas and flapjacks etc...
