'FANTASIC VALUE TI MUG'
Strengths:
The saying "cheap, light, strong - pick two" doesn't apply to this product as it's all three.
Weaknesses:
None I can think of
Overall:
Fantastic value for a Ti mug that can also be used as a small cooking pot.

'GREAT LITTLE POT THAT STRADDLES THE LINE BETWEEN MUG AND PAN'
Strengths:
Strong and robust.
Ideal for small cookers.
Large enough for small gas canisters.
Lid has noodle strainer.
Wooden lid handle doesn't get hot.
Really inexpensive for a titanium product.
Weaknesses:
Doesn't quite fit on a Whisperlite's pot stand.
Can lead to burned lips if you're not careful.
Overall:
This pot's fantastic. I now use it as my only pot and mug when packpacking alone. Its size seems best suited to small gas burners withh 100g cartridges, as these can be stowed inside the pot. It's not quite so good if you prefer something like a Whisperlite. There's no way to fit that inside, although my pot gets filled with other items instead.

Another problem, specifically with the Whisperlite, is that the Whisperlite's three legs don't quit get close enough to the burner to hold this pot. It does hold it, but it's always on the brink of falling off, and often winds up sat directly on the generator tube, which causes an intense hot spot.

'ALPKIT DOES IT AGAIN'
Strengths:
Price, size, lid, strength
Weaknesses:
Handles can get a bit hot.
Overall:
Great, my optimus 123 just fits inside. Big enough for cooking on an ultralight trip and it holds a whole bottle of wine!

'QUALITY LIGHTWEIGHT PIECE OF KIT'
Strengths:
Lightweight, hardwearing and cheaper than like for like equivalents.
Weaknesses:
Handles do get hot, but hey, who's don't?
Overall:
Perfect for making single meals and brews on my pocket rocket. Even comes with a lid? Can't ask for a lot more!

'Lightweight, without the silly price tag'
Strengths:
Light, durable, cheap for titanium.
Weaknesses:
Wirehandles get really hot if you stick the mug on a stove.
15 quid for a small metal pot is still expensive.
Overall:
This is a great bit of kit if you fancy some Ti bling for your lightweight walking antics. It's not just a mug, as you stick it on a stove to use as a minimalist cooking pot or kettle too. If you do, take care, those wire handles get really hot. Not unlike the MSR Ti mug, only you get a lid and pay a lot less for it too. Nice one Alpkit!

'A cheap and handy mug/saucepan thingy'
Strengths:
Ten quid cheaper than the SnowPeak Trek 700 or MSR version. It has a good lid with strain holes. It is roomy enogh to contain a small gas bottle and a smalll stove (like an MSR Pocket Rocket). It also seems well put together.
Weaknesses:
Couls do with a stuff sack to keep it all together in your pack. When mine arrived in the post it was filthy, scrubbed up well though.
Overall:
Good value and a handy little item.
