'NOW I KNOW I'M ALIVE !'
Strengths:
Primarily functions as a sports watch, so daily use for telling the time or setting a wake-up call aren't punctuated with four-letter outbursts. HRM functions are simple to use and fairly logical.
Unlike some HRMs this doesn't look like a generic HRM - it looks like a watch, so you'll not be embarassed to wear it in public.
Weaknesses:
Has a tendency to lose the heart rate signal a little too often, sparking fears that I may have died (not unlikely if you see me exercise !).
Overall:
Jolly good !
From a human point of view, heart rate monitoring is absolutely fascinating; and as a training tool is very useful indeed. To see the improvements in recovery time and resting heart rate alone are enough to spur me on to great deeds.
This unit provides a discrete and tastefully designed watch and a decent specced HRM for the a fair price.
