'PERFORMS WELL IN RAIN, SHINE, WIND AND SNOW!'
Strengths:
Quick to pitch, lightweight, small packsize, stands up to heavy persistant rain and has even been used in snow with no problems.
Weaknesses:
You need 13 pegs not 12 as supplied, other than this none!
Overall:
I have used this tent to wildcamp for a number of years. Due to its light weight, it is suitable to use for solo trips and allows lots of space for a single occupant. I have also used it to sleep 2 a number of times- it is a bit snug for two, however if you wanted more room, you would have to buy a bigger, heavier tent. An excellent tent!

'GREAT TENT , COULD BE IMPROVED WITH MINOR DESIGN DETAIL'
Strengths:
Strong tent construction.
Quality materials.
Good internal height. Changed to this from an Acto for this reason.
Weaknesses:
Not easy to match the clips to appropriate pole in poor weather conditions.TN should colour code the clips.Less likely to get inner wet as erecting would be quicker.
Would like a loose sheet to velcro over mesh.
Overall:
If the above two simple additions were made the tent would be near perfect.

'GOOD BUT COLD IN WIND'
Strengths:
Stable and quick/easy to pitch, not too heavy given it's build quality.
Weaknesses:
COLD!! With the narrow (foot) end of the inner being mesh, presumably to aid ventilation and help keep the weight down, the wind whipped through the tent (I pitched it with this end into the wind as you'd expect) and I was freezing. Admittedly I was on my own in a 2 man tent but even so, I'm usually toasty. For info I minimised the wind by reducing the gap at the bottom of the fly but still got cold in 3 season weather. I'd rather have a little condensation than be cold...
Overall:
I am a fan of TN tents and have used a quasar on many occassions, which I love. The quasars are really heavy though, especially for one person (if you're going to carry it yourself), and I really wanted to like this as a lighter weight 1-2 man option. Anybody else experience the same?

'LIGHT, EASY-UP & VERY WATERPROOF, A WINNER'
Strengths:
Almost puts it's self up and being Yellow for the inner you can sort yourself out in the dark no proplems. Spent 2 whole days holed-up in continual torrential down-pour only to immerge with no more discomfort than a bad smell.
Weaknesses:
Could have done with 20/30cm more hight at the far end but then again it is a minimalist piece of kit.
Overall:
A cracking tent that will survive anything the UK has to offer and probably more. Much more economical than some of the other overpriced international producers we're now seeing more of. Keep that Derbyshire factory going. (I don't work for Terra Nova, I just like to keep thing British when they're working so well.

'"WELL ARD"'
Strengths:
3 IDENTICAL SIZE POLES,COMPLETELY WATERTIGHT,EASIEST 2 MAN TENT TO PUT UP, WILL STAND UP TO ALMOST ALL THE WEATHER THE UK HAS TO OFFER, VERSITILE DOORS/PORCH, WARM AND COSY.
Weaknesses:
IT NEEDS 14 PEGS BUT COMES WITH ONLY 12 AND IT WASN'T FREE!!
Overall:
I LOVE THIS TENT. I HAVE PITCHED IT IN PLACES WHERE OTHER TENTS OF THIS PRICE RANGE WOULD NOT DARE TO TREAD.
I HAVE PURCHASED THREE OTHER TERRA NOVA TENTS/BIVI BECUASE OF THE VOYAGERS PERFORMANCE.

'GREAT '
Strengths:
Very easy to pitch. 3 identical poles, very light, pretty bombproof,
Weaknesses:
A little bit small inside for me, but it is a pretty light tent.
Overall:
Excellent little tent which has served me well in the past year. Stood up to some the worst weather in the Caringoms. Very quick and easy to pitch. Choose this instead of the TNF westwind, it was cheaper and lighter, and its British. I paid £240 which is pretty good I thought.

'GREAT VALUE TENT STANDS UP TO THE WORST WEATHER'
Strengths:
Easy and fast to pitch
Very ligthweight
Has stood up to the worst weather I've been out in
Weaknesses:
Terra Nova returns/customer service! I had a problem when I first got it. Terra Nova fixed it free of charge but they took several months to do so and did not give me any feedback/progress updates which is very frustrating.
Overall:
Ive had this tent out in gales (the roof of the tent was bouncing off my nose) and it endured throughout. Torrential downpour - not a drip!

'FANTASTIC VALUE'
Strengths:
Everything. I've had my Ultra Voyager for years now - by far and away the best tent I've ever owned. Light enough to backpack, large enough to live in for weeks. Strong, quick to pitch, durable - the list goes on
Weaknesses:
Errr. Having had the tent for getting on 10 years I may need to re-proof the groundsheet soon . . .
Overall:
If you're looking for a 2 man backpacking tent this is the one. Although the £200 given above seems VERY reasonable (I've seen them for over £300) you can pick them up for as little as £240 at the moment. Best tents in the world.

'LIGHT AND RELIABLE'
Strengths:
Tough, green outer, feelgood yellow inner, fairly light, quiet when windy, space is adequate.
Weaknesses:
A tad short, mesh end is draughty, rear-end collapses a bit in the wind, flysheet doesn't line up that well with the inner.
Overall:
Fairly tough, fairly light, good internal space.

'YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR'
Strengths:
* Very robust design, totally waterproof
* Superb quality materials
* Quick to put up and pack away
* Small and light enough to backpack with
Weaknesses:
* Space is tight with 2 people + kit
* Need to put inner up first - not good if raining!
* Porch not very sheltered if you need to cook in it
Overall:
You can't really go wrong if you buy one of these. I've had mine for 3 years and it's still as good as the day I bought it. The weaknesses are only minor niggles really, more than outweighed by the superb performance of the tent when you really need it (mine has been battered by Patagonian storms and passed with flying colours). You really get what you pay for with the Voyager.
