'High spec very low weight quality bag'
Strengths:
The warmth/weight ratio is amazing. This 900 fill down bag weighs in at only 822g but has a comfort rating down to -9c although I have yet to test this fully. The materials and it's construction is top notch using the same material for it's outer shell as parachutes and handgliders use i.e. very durable and strong. The hood is also very comfortable and doesn't use velcro but is very effective. The zip baffle is also a decent size keeping out any cold draughts.
Weaknesses:
It's a down bag so don't get it wet. It only has a half length zipper although for me this is not an issue. Expensive although if looked after it will be worth it many times over. RRP is £250 but there was a deal onn CCConline for £180 - a bargain.
Overall:
This is a great sleeping bag from a little known US company and so not easy to find in the UK but worth looking for. The warmth and weight ratio was a huge deciding factor as were the reviews I found on US sites and so far it has more than lived up to these.

'LOW WEIGHT, TINY PACK SIZE - GREAT'
Strengths:
Packs very small any weighs nothing. Slept in Snowdonia on a very cold night, condensation was horrendous but the water brushed off the outer and the down stayed dry. Looks flimsy but feels very tough. The zip baffle works well - even I could not trap the fabric.
Weaknesses:
I feel the -9 rating is a bit optimistic. It was about -6 where I was and I woke up a bit at 5am and felt just this side of cold, I was only wearing a T shirt though with a thin fleece I would have been fine.
Overall:
£250 is a lot of money for a sleeping bag. But if low weight and a tiny size are important then this one is for you. Shop around as I got mine for £200 on the net.

'I LOVE IT TO BITS!!!'
Strengths:
This bag is amazing! It packs so small yet when unleashed from its stuffsac it lofts out like a huge cucoon within minutes.
The official stuffsac is sized like a loaf of Hovis but thankfully doesn't shed crumbs.
Weaknesses:
Um, the price. I managed to get it £51 off at the Outdoor Shop but I still had to save up for 6 months for it.
Overall:
This sleeping bag has changed my life. Literally.

Since developing an illness related to arthritis, I had given up on my all-year-round camping life and resigned myself to hunting out cheap camping barns - I can't afford B&Bs. I used to shiver in my ME Sleepwalker 2 in winter, even when fully dressed and with extra fleece layers on both top and bottom.

With the Marmot, I can sleep in a tent in January whilst wearing very little indeed (!) and I'm as snug as the proverbial bug. There were times when I had to open the zip right up to cool down a wee bit.

In warmer weather the bag is still very effective - it doesn't get all sweaty like a synthetic bag; and in midsummer I can simply slip out of the bag and stay inside my silk liner like a little maggot.

I "sleep cold" but this bag will perform above and beyond its professed temperature range - the first bag I've tried that does.

It is wonderful!!
:O)))

'SMALL, LIGHT, EXPENSIVE'
Strengths:
Extremely small, very light for the level of warmth, even down distribution (not thinner on the back like many 'light' bags) which means you don't to lie on your back.
Weaknesses:
Is expensive
Overall:
I have the EQ long version which is a little heavier but the full zip means warmer nights are not so unpleasent, water resistence reduces breathability a little but might only become an issue after many days of damp winter camping. This packs so small it is very impressive. Highly recommended if budget allows.

'OVER PRICED AND LACKING'
Strengths:
This bag is superbly small, really tiny and light. Pretty durable aswell.
Weaknesses:
Though rated to minus 9 this really is a complete myth, even at 0 this bag struggled to keep up. Despite having very high power fill, there just isnt enough of it. Lacks a shoulder baffle aswell.
Overall:
This bag would be excellent as a 2-3 season bag if it weren't so highly priced. For the money forget about the spaced that is saved and get a bag that will do what its designed to.
