'GREAT BAG'
Strengths:
Strong, waterproof and huge, easily swallows my gear and a bit more
Weaknesses:
Price is steep, so shop around ;o)
Overall:
Travelling without my duffle is miserable, just chuck the gear in, haul wherever, leave outside in bad weather, it just does what it says on the can.

'I LOVE MY DUFFLE!'
Strengths:
Huge (I have the 90L), strong, straps make it easy to lug about an airport avoiding all the irritating trolley bags, makes me want to fly to the mountains.
Weaknesses:
Nope.
Overall:
Great big, bright yellow, hold everything you own bag.

'OUT STANDIG BIT OF KIT TO HOLD THE REST OF THE KIT.'
Strengths:
Bombe proof constuction
time tested in most remote areas
good capacity and packability with
back- pack like mobility
Weaknesses:
none
Overall:
Does exactly what it says on the tin.
Can swallow full size trecking pack and the rest of the kit for airport travel and still be movable in a stylish kind a way. A must have bit of kit. Psss. ( Go to the Outdoors shows and pick one up at £60 quid bargin price) "u aint seen me.. rite.."

'SMASHING!'
Strengths:
It's tough. Super tough. And waterproof. Airport baggage handlers can throw it around in the rain and it laughs in their faces.

The compression straps are a godsend and stop your stuff from jiggling around.

To say it's not a rucksack, the straps are surprisingly comfortable for short journeys e.g. around an airport or train station.

Finally, it looks good.
Weaknesses:
I bought an XL and it's too heavy for me to lift, even when it's only 3/4 full. Perhaps my eyes were bigger than my biceps when I bought it.
Overall:
This is the Daddy. A bag for life that won't let you down.

'KIT BAG THAT CAN HOLD TONS OF STUFF'
Strengths:
Simple, large, can carry it like a backpack. Garish colours make it easy to spot. Its size.
Weaknesses:
Expensive, locking zippers are too small for a decent sized padlock, garish colours. Its size
Overall:
Can stuff several weeks worth of kit into it. Simple, no nonsense piece of kit.

However, it is a bit overpriced for what it is and mine is starting to come apart after a few years of abuse. Its size encourages overpacking. A major weakness is the loops for attaching a padlock, which are only big enough to fit a puny lock.

'ALMOST AN ALTERNATIVE TO A TENT!'
Strengths:
Massive (I've got the Large - 100 litres or thereabouts?)
Solid
Flexible
Classic design
Unbeatable good looks
Weaknesses:
Pricey - but if you're prepared to haggle, plead, beg, yell, threaten to never shop here again, etc., you'd be amazed how low a retailer will go.
Apparently, in some parts of the world these have become something of a target for thieves in recent times, but that's hardly the product's fault.
Overall:
Friday evening, snap decision, "we're off for the weekend". Open duffle in the middle of living room, start chucking stuff at it - tent, daysacks, clothes, sleeping bags, on and on and on - this thing will swallow most of your worldy goods without batting an eyelid. All done? Then zip it shut, pull on the compression straps 'til it stops rattling, chuck in back of car. Sorted. Mine holds full weekend kit for 3 people and therefore saves endless trips to the back of the car once you arrive at your campsite/b and b/hotel. And HOW cool do you look turning up with one of these?

'BL**DY BRILLIANT!'
Strengths:
Reliable constuction. Good lockable zips, loadsa straps, will take even the biggest Lekis. Easily spottable at airports! (Mine's yellow)
Weaknesses:
Can be a tad rattly if not packed out.
Overall:
The best duffle I've ever owned - does ski trips, goes on a mule, expandable for long-haul souvenir bagging. Slightly pricey but look for sales.
