 | | | Posted: 20/07/04 | | 'ALMOST AN ALTERNATIVE TO A TENT!' | | Strengths: Massive (I've got the Large - 100 litres or thereabouts?) Solid Flexible Classic design Unbeatable good looks | | Weaknesses: Pricey - but if you're prepared to haggle, plead, beg, yell, threaten to never shop here again, etc., you'd be amazed how low a retailer will go. Apparently, in some parts of the world these have become something of a target for thieves in recent times, but that's hardly the product's fault. | | Overall: Friday evening, snap decision, "we're off for the weekend". Open duffle in the middle of living room, start chucking stuff at it - tent, daysacks, clothes, sleeping bags, on and on and on - this thing will swallow most of your worldy goods without batting an eyelid. All done? Then zip it shut, pull on the compression straps 'til it stops rattling, chuck in back of car. Sorted. Mine holds full weekend kit for 3 people and therefore saves endless trips to the back of the car once you arrive at your campsite/b and b/hotel. And HOW cool do you look turning up with one of these? |
