'Brill'
Strengths:
Low Weight
Weaknesses:
The 'carry-sack' provided is c 51cm long so if you use it as intended you have to roll rather than fold in half and roll as per other t-a-rs. Next time I will use a different sack!
Overall:
Excellent, the 'grip' on the base meant that although camped on side of hill I stayed put whilst my compadres slipped to the base of the tent during the night!

'SUPERB - A REAL IMPROVEMENT'
Strengths:
As comfortable as previous Thermorests but even lighter.
Weaknesses:
Nothing significant.
Overall:
I needed a new mat and decided to buy the lowest weight model on the market. I did wonder if this was going to be too thin but it is just as comfortable as my old standard - probably better. The bobbly top surface - and the base - mean that there is NO slipping about on the mat, which is a great improvement!

'LIGHT, COMFORTABLE - WHAT ELSE CAN YOU ASK FOR?'
Strengths:
As above....

Althought the supplied sac is 51cm, you can fold the mat in half and roll it up. Takes a bit of practice (see instructions with it!) an then extra bit of bag just getr rolled up.
Weaknesses:
None - so far, but they are fairly expensive, but if you shop around there are some good deals.
Overall:
Fantastic bit of kit. If you haven't got one, buy one.

'ZZZZZZZZZZ'
Strengths:
Non-slip. Lovely and warm 4-season mat. Attracts loads of envious gazes from my colleagues!
Weaknesses:
Still pretty expensive at full retail price but, hey, you get what you pay for.
Overall:
This is the bees knees. I got a 20% discount as a member of the Army Mountaineering Association so I'm well chuffed. Lightweight luxury which packs away to practically nothing and can even be used in your pack to give some cushioning if needed. I've got the 3/4 length version because I'm a compact 5'4" and use a nice travel pillow (stuffed with softy jacket) under my head.

'TOP-NOTCH KIT'
Strengths:
Really comfy - need I say anything else.
Weaknesses:
None that I can find.
Overall:
Been using for a year now and really happy with it. Bit pricey but you get what you pay for and I wanted a good nights sleep on pretty much any surface without the bulk of an airbed or campbed. I used to just clear away the ground and hope for the best - not any more.
