Weaknesses: Seams inside fingers are a little scratchy
M grips don't provide a great surface area and start peeling a little too soon.
Thumb a reasonable length but 'gulley' between that and finger not deep enough.
Overall: Having endured finger-freezers for years I wanted a glove I could hold binoculars with, and as a birdwatcher my fingers were exposed for long periods.
The windstopper lined fleece does the job of keeping me warm pretty well, although the seam along the fingers is irritatingly scratchy when you first put them on (although not too bad when you're wearing them unless you move your fingers a lot).
The grips are formed of little slightly reflective Mountain Equipment logo M's. Great for showing off the brand but smaller tightly spaced dots would give more surface area to grip by and be less liable to peal. As it is grip is compromised by branding, and whilst okay could be better.
Stitching on the cuff is good and the large embroidered logo M's (surely adequate branding)are reasonably reflective which could be handy at night.
A little pricey compared to less trendy gloves of a similar quality, but not bad value.
Good but could be better.
