RRP: £150

Description: The main compartment is expandable in size and has a curved zip base compartment for easy access and storage. The front pocket is removable enabling it to be used as a day sack. Karrimor's self adjust harness provides a comfortable and stable load carrying platform. For airport travel you can zip away the harness and use the convenient grab handles.

'STRONG, FLEXIBLE, COMFORTABLE, WELL THOUGHT OUT...MOSTLY'
Strengths:
Excellent for travelling with the best harness I've ever used. Expandable and the detachable daypack is a needed bonus for long travel.
Weaknesses:
Quality control is a bit iffy--one pack we received was missing all the stitching on the left shoulder strap so it unravelled and fell apart 200 miles from base. Could do with better compression straps including extra straps to compress the daypack. The inner pocket that straps over clothes is like an after thought and is virtually useless. Could do with a better design on the outside pockets ie. a flap with velcro to securely close them. Finally, after some warranty dealings with Karrimor I'm not sure the company actually exists as more than a licensee. Mountain Warehouse refused to honour the warranty while Karrimor's "repair centre" wanted me to deal with MW.
Overall:
An excellent pack for my purposes and it is used two to three weeks out of the month. A lot of bang for the buck since it is sold pretty well discounted at around £120. It will not disappoint as long as it wasn't made late on a Friday afternoon!

'SO GOOD IT COULD SWING BETWEEN THE BACK LEGS OF A DOG!'
Strengths:
Strong, big, expandable. large very strong zips with enough compression straps and adjustments to make a fully laden pack transportable for hours pain free.
And its a british company - not many left nowdays!
Weaknesses:
You can't lock the bottom compartment shut which negates the value of being able to lock the top zips as the compartments are joined inside
Overall:
Very good pack, in sensible colours at a good price with the most comfortable sraps / hip pads i've ever tried.
Well worth a try
