'DISAPPOINTING'
Strengths:
Compact and simple to operate
Weaknesses:
Inaccurate and sometimes don't work
Overall:
We gave these out to members of a health walking group to encourage them to work towards 10,000 steps a day. But they were so variable they were no incentive. I wore two, one on each hip, and they gave different readings!

'RUBBISH'
Strengths:
None
Weaknesses:
I, too, bought this, thinking of how good Silva Compasses's are, I was expecting a 'quality' product. Couldn't have been more wrong, over known routes and distances, was not even close,(1 route I know 6mls, over 3 trips furtherist it said I got was 1.3mls
Overall:
Very disappointed, if had found reciept would have taken back for refund.

'WILDLY INACCURATE'
Strengths:
Lariat very pretty and attractive in clear plastic.
Weaknesses:
lariat clip fell apart after 3 uses.
pedometer clip very insecure.
Upside-down reading illogical
Overall:
I ws extremely disappointed with this item. the readings were wildly inaccurate and never above 550 steps, even though I walk everywhere.
I was hoping that purchasing an accessory in the middle price range would guarantee at least some form of quality and reliability.
How wrong can one be?
Short of wearing it on my walking boots, I can't get it to give me any kind of reading of note.
