'JUST A FLEECE'

Strengths:
Good fabric, very warm.
Comfortable cut.

Weaknesses:
Pockets will always be blocked by hip belt.
Maybe too warm for walking in Spring and Autumn when worn under waterproof.
Very undurable DWR finish.

Overall:
This is simply, just a fleece. Nothing technical here. Just warm. I didn't buy it to use as a shell. It's just a well made, warm, comfortable fleece. Excellent for walking too school when its cold and just as good for explorer and DofE walks.

'NICE WARM FLEECE BUT MISSING FUNDAMENTAL IA POINT.'

Strengths:
Very warm & comfy. Does as it's designed to do, zips into the shell jacket & fits for size under the Berghaus range.

Weaknesses:
Sleeves of the shells have the popper tabs to clip IA fleece sleeves in place but where are the loops on the fleece sleeve cuffs? Is it only ours? A BIG failing when selling the fleece as the IA & annoying when taking off the shell & fleece together & having the fleece sleeves come out of the shell arms etc.

Overall:
Would buy this only as the InterActive (IA) for the shells IF it has the loops on the cuffs otherwise there are other fleeces that serve as a standalone fleece that I might prefer.
