'REALLY LIKE THIS JACKET!'
Strengths:
Stylish, great fit - love the long arms, covers your bum and warm for the weight of it. Good hood. Feels so light and soft to wear.
Weaknesses:
I never like the hood adjusters which are near the face. They don;t get in the way really but personally wish manufacturers would find another way.
Overall:
I can see me buying another one if this one wears out. The sort of jacket you can wear out in the hills and in the pub or like me, to work. I've got the 2007/8 version.

'DON'T LEAVE HOME WITHOUT IT.'
Strengths:
Super lightweight, packs down into virtually nothing and provides excellent warmth. Excellent fit.
Weaknesses:
Zip something snags
Overall:
I love this jacket so much. I always carry it with me whether I'm walking or even skiing as it's no hassle to carry around and the level of warmth it offers gives me real confidence that I'm kitted out properly for all weathers. Pop it under a shell and you're good to go in some serious cold weather.

'EXCELLENT INSULATION PIECE'
Strengths:
Warm, Very compressable, small pack size, descrete yet smart(ish) look for off the mountain.
Weaknesses:
Pertex is a little prone to snags and holes. But to be expected.
Overall:
Excellent. However, the hood should be detatchable hood because it bulks up at colo when used in layering system.

'Fantastic. Warm, lightweight, great packsize.'
Strengths:
This jacket is great for throwing on when you stop climbing/walking. I find it really warm and very windproof and surprisingly waterproof. Great to have a hood and the 4 pockets are a good size to store most things.
Weaknesses:
None that I can think of.
Overall:
I wear this jacket for many types of activity including camping and hill walking. It is very versatile. I got mine from www.towerridgedirect.co.uk at a bargain price of £85.

'WARM, LIGHT, SNUG'
Strengths:
Way too warm to walk in, I keep this in the bottom of my pack for stopping on cold hilltops. It's very windproof and a nice tight cut. Probably equivalant to a 300 wt fleece, but windproof, and better in the wet. Not much more to add - does what it says on the tin.
Weaknesses:
No volume reducer makes the hood next to useless unless you can hold it back over your eyes with one hand. The top of the zip could do sith slightly better protection as it tends to grind into your chin.
Overall:
Fantastic warmth to weight ratio, highly recommended. As above, got mine from the excellent Tower Ridge Direct.
