'POOR DESIGN FROM SCARPA'
Strengths:
Sold as a shoe for those moving up the grades, it almost fits the bill. I owned a pair of Helix before these, and they improved on them in almost every way. More longitudinal flex, so better smearing, reasonably stiff latterly so edging good. Downturned toe allows you to pull into holds on overhanging stuff nicely. Excellent build quality.
Weaknesses:
The heal never felt "right" with to much spare material, and that embarrasing farting noise with every step!
They hurt. After about an hour, they hurt really badly, I was left with pressure marks on both of my big toes.
The downturned toe isn't that helpful when smearing.
Overall:
A good boot, but with one major flaw. If you get a pair, break them in for a long time, at home, to see if you get pain in your toes.
My lead grade went down with these boots because it hurt to much to use smaller holds.

'GOOD, BUT PAINFUL!'
Strengths:
These are my first pair of climbing shoes so i'm maybe not the best person to judge. I find them good to climb in, the downturned toe is good for putting toes in small cracks. Got mine for £45 too, seemed to have gone up a lot in price over the last year.
Weaknesses:
Painful! Not too bad when first put on but after a few hours they do start to hurt a lot!
Overall:
Overall I am quite impressed but this is probably cos they are my 1st pair of boots! Probably not worth the money as more comfy ones are cheaper!
