'BEST ALL-ROUNDER'
Strengths:
It's strong for starters! Won't get damaged in your bag like a polystyrene one may. Solid polycarbonate shell shrugs off impacts that'd ruin a lightweight model. It's pretty comfortable, not excessively sweaty, massively (and easily) adjustable; I can easily wear a hat under mine.
Weaknesses:
It isn't cheap but it will last you a long long time. Relatively heavy and bulkier than some of the lightweight models out there.
Overall:
It's a really really good helmet if you're into trad or winter. Less so if headpointing or sport is your thing.

'Heavyweight, solid, multi-use helmet'
Strengths:
Rock solid.
Very adjustable.
Weaknesses:
Pretty heavy.
Slightly expensive.
Overall:
This classic helment has really stood the test of time. It has proven itself over the years and is the helmet of choice of guides, outdoor centres, Mountain rescue etc.

It is also and ideal mounaineering helmet, as it should survive multiple impacts (in one day).

'CLASSIC ADJUSTABLE MOUNTAINEERING LID'
Strengths:
Proven design,comfortable, easy to adjust
Weaknesses:
A bit tall, not as light as some of the carbon fibre jobbies
Overall:
Good general mountaineering helmet. The twin thumbwheel adjustment means it can be tailored easily to your head and once tightened it stays secure but comfortable. Ventilation is pretty reasonable, but you may want to tape the holes up for winter mountaineering or risk a bucket-full of spindrift on your scalp.

Chinstrap fastening is good too. It does sit quite high which means some shell jacket hoods may not fit over the top of it. Seems very tough though thankfully it's only ever had to deal with falling ice. Significantly more comfortable than the standard Roc which preceded it, but still not exactly trendy looking.

The head torch clips work well.

''THE CLASSIC LID THAT SETS THE STANDARD' '
Strengths:
Well designed for ventilation and protection. the wheels can be handy to use with gloves on!
Weaknesses:
There is the weight factor of this helmet. But it can get in the way when climbing chimneys or off-widths.
Overall:
a very good helmet a classic design it can be used for climbing rocks or mountians, an absolute gem.

'SOLID COMFORTABLE MULTI-USE HELMET'
Strengths:
Very easy to adjust to a stable comfortable fit. can be adjusted whilst on unlike some which is really usefull if you want your head to breath a bit on belay ledges or want to tighten it when looking up alot.

Comes with thick and thin padding to really customise the fit to suit any head size and the rear cradel does a fantastic job of keeping it in the right place.
Feels pretty solid. Only had to deal small falling pebbles and me banging my head on rocks when climbing so far and dont ice-climb so cant comment on winter use.

Headtorch clips work really well

Petzl is much nicer to wear than anything that says CAMP in bit letters...but thats a very vain comment!
Weaknesses:
Tad heavy and still not as stylish as something like a BD Halfdome. Tho looks better in white than red (dammit) Few stickers can change this!

Overall:
Perfect all round mountain bonce protector

'SOLID CLIMBING HELMET'
Strengths:
fully adjustable
Bright
solid
Well ventilated
Weaknesses:
Expensive
Overall:
Really good all round helmet for summer or winter can take a good bashing easily noticed with the bright red colour slightly heavy but you cant complain, i fiond that the stitching in the centre part of the helmet where it touches the crown of your head can get iritating if you have the helmet on for a prolonged period but apart from that an all round good helmet,

'BRILLIANT HELMET FOR EVERYTHING'
Strengths:
Protective helmet for all round use. Very adjustable, 2 thicknesses of padding, comfortable (can wear all day) and doesn't look too silly. Can wear it over a balaclava if needs be.
Weaknesses:
The plastic padding can get very sweaty. There are lighter (but less durable?) helmets available. £50 is a lot of money, but cheaper than a new head. Its more for 'stuff falling on your head' protection than 'your head falling on stuff' protection.
Overall:
For general all round use this is ideal. If you only do sport climbing then maybe a Meteor or similar would be better.
