'TIME WILL TELL'
Strengths:
not to light that makes the head bounce off ice, yet light enought so you wont mind carrying up to the snowline on your pack. The Pick can be interchanged which is usefull if you hapen to blunt it, or want to take up ice climbing without shelling out for another axe. Technical rating so can be used for belays. Comfy in the hand and seemingly well ballenced. Well finished shaft with no nasty angles to dig into the hand while walking. Also pretty good value for an axe that is capable of two jobs!
Weaknesses:
Leash not wonderful and price steep if you just want a walking axe. Weight freaks will find it to heavy.
Overall:
A nice axe, well finished and as its capable of doing two jobs good value. Time will tell on durablility.

'TWO FOR THE PRICE OF ONE AND A BIT....'
Strengths:
the interchangable head is great, we have two axes, one for me and the mrs when we go walking, two for me for climbing - saved a fortune! the picks haven't blunted so far (3 seasons hard use)so no complaints there. its got a 'good feel' that gives you confidence when when plunging, arresting and climbing.
Weaknesses:
a bit heavy compared to some. fairly expensive if just for walking.
Overall:
a good axe, especially for those who climb and walk.

'GRREAT!!!'
Strengths:
Tough, good swinging action, well built, changeable picks (if needed), easy to belay with, fairly lightweight. Very adaptable and easy to manhandle on the mountain for those more interesting moments. Looks good too!!
Weaknesses:
The nuts on the changeable picks seem to be rusting, but you can buys spares or tape over them!!
Overall:
It has proved a shrewd purchase for me as I have used it climbing up to grade II scottish and it is heading for the Alps this summer too. Found it very reliable to swing into turf or ice and bites well.

Shall most certainly be buying a hammer of the same to partner it for next year!!
