Overall: A great crampon. They do everything asked: 1) They are simple to fit on the hill (assuming you have adjusted length etc before you go). 2) They are reliable 3) They work well to keep you upright and secure on the snow and ice.
Strengths: Excellent compatibility with Scarpa SLM3 (you always seem to see them displayed together in shops!); easy to adjust; easy to fit with gloved hands; straps stay tight; natural walking action occured in less than 2 hrs for me with no trips or ripped trousers.
Weaknesses: No apparent weaknesses after 2 initial 2hr outings. Obviously you are paying for the quality.
Overall: Once you have set the length using the adjuster, you can actually remove the adjuster and replace it with a bolt and self-locking nut. Saves a bit of weight and reduces mechanical complexity.
