'DOES EXACTLY WHAT IT SAYS ON THE BOX...'
Strengths:
Strong, realtively light, and not too prone to balling up. Easy to adjust, not too expensive, and fit securely (on AFS101s and Nepal Tops anyway).
Weaknesses:
Too good to use on mixed routes! Longish frontpoints add to slight insecurity on mixed ground.
Overall:
Solid, functional all round mountain crampons, better on snow/ice than mixed ground as the front points are quite long.
But why the name tag sewn on to the strap? It's like school all over again...

'THE PERFECT CRAMPON?'
Strengths:
Heel unit and bar makes it easily and quickly adjustable to fit many boots (Scarpa Vega, Alpha, Freney, La Sportiva Nepal Top). Quick to put on. Can be adjusted as far down as size 5 without compromising point positioning. Light, but strong, robust and durable. Design reduces balling-up.
Weaknesses:
No significant weaknesses that aren't shared by most other general-purpose crampons, such as being difficult to put on with gloves. Point angles and lack of front point adjustability make this less suitable for higher-grade climbing than more technical designs - but then it's not sold as a technical crampon.
Overall:
This crampon is perfect for anything up to Scottish grade III, and is quite serviceable, if not the best choice, at higher grades too. It seems infinitely adjustable, and I've yet to see a boot it doesn't fit. Charlet's usual high quality and an excellent choice for an all-purpose crampon.

'CLOSE TO PERFECT...'
Strengths:
Great solid design
Good binding system + heel clip
Never to ball up yet with me
Great allrounder
Weaknesses:
Not made any more
Overall:
Fabulous mountaineering crampon. I've used these on Steep Norwegian Ice and have been great and for winter walking. It's replacement the Vasack or something, is vastly different, comes with AB plates but just doesn't feel as solid or good in my opion.
