| 'DON'T BOTHER' | | Strengths: The green colour is quite nice. The press studs work. Struggling for anything else good to say. | | Weaknesses: Where shall I start? They aren't waterproof, they leak, the small size has quite wide legs yet the waist is tiny. Oh, and they are not waterproof. Also they let rain in. | | Overall: With waterprrof gear, you pays your money, you gets your choice. If you want something to keep out English rainwater, this isn't it. |

| 'WORSE THAN USELESS' | | Strengths: Erm, err, not sure. | | Weaknesses: What can I say, waterproofs should keep you dry. These dont. It wasnt even raining hard when I wore them! Also they dont breath. | | Overall: If you want clammy, and wet legs, get these. Otherwise, I'd suggest a bin liner and some duct tape! |

| 'GOOD VALUE' | | Strengths: pack away size is small and they dont weigh much and are cheap they cost me £8 | | Weaknesses: would not take very rough use as the material does not seem very strong | | Overall: I wanted a pair of overtrousers to take to nepal (everest base camp) last year cheap and lightwieght for ocassional use. They did the job, rain and snow no problem and they are still are working ok. Maybe not for all day use but for the sudden downpour they are fine .Might even take them to Ecuador. |

| 'GREAT FOR BACK PACKING' | | Strengths: Lightweight, compact, breathable, nice stuff bag & cheap. | | Weaknesses: Not for monsoon conditions, they do let in water during prologed rain sessions, but not too much. | | Overall: I've used them on many occasions and had no complaints. The one occasion I did get damp was when the rain varied from drizzle to downpour with visibility down to 10 yards in places. I would have been surprised if they had kept me completely dry in those conditions. |

| 'CHEAP AND CHEERFUL' | | Strengths: Bargain price and not bad performance. Small pack size. | | Weaknesses: Not overly breathable and more water resitant than waterproof. | | Overall: Bought them for backpacking but was forced to use them in a downpour in peaks a few weeks ago. They kept me as dry as my friends considerably more expensive pair. Good option for occassional use.

| 'CHEAP AND CHEERFUL' | | Strengths: Price Weight (so they're always in my pack) Waterproof | | Weaknesses: Breathability Tear easy (but easy to fix with a bit of Duck tape on the back) | | Overall: Didn't realise until recently just how little breathabilty these have.
I was glad to get them off. |

| 'VERY GOOD FOR PRICE ,LIGHTWEIGHT, VERSATILE' | | Strengths: Used them climbing 'Munro's' in torrential rain, sleet & snow stayed dry, used them for cycling, stayed dry. | | Weaknesses: The ankle stud fitting is not very good, especially for cycling. | | Overall: A very good value product, they have served me well, better than a couple of expensive 'Brand' name overtrousers that I have tried and have let me down in less demanding conditions. |
