    'Office in your wallet.'
    Strengths:
Very small and always worth having in your pack. Not really robust enough to be used for anything but the most lightweight of tasks though.
    Weaknesses:
Very lightweight - will not take a beating.
    Overall:
The pen has come in useful so many times I have lost count - and it is still going work. This is a good job as I have no idea where to buy replacements.

    'Not really useful'
    Strengths:
Compact tool with some useful features
    Weaknesses:
Too wide to keep in your wallet, if you've got even just a few credit\debit\store\loyalty cards.

    Very fiddly to use
    Overall:
I had this bought for me as a present, but find that I very, very rarely use it.

The tiny size Swiss Army knife - scissers, small knife & nail file etc. I have one attached to my keys,& I find is much more useful. This costs about the same.
Like slighty larger compact leatherman though nearly double the price is more useful.

    'VERY USEFUL'
    Strengths:
Keep mine in my wallet and use it regularly especially scissors, pen and toothpick (especially nice in posh restaurants)
    Weaknesses:
Knife is too small to be of much use, case is a bit flimsy - nail file keeps falling out of mine
    Overall:
Great - got mine as a present - invaluable if you are backpacking

Oh and Ian, there is an outdoor shop in Bakewell that sells replacement pens and I guess victorinix will have suppliers

    'SURPRISINGLY HANDY'
    Strengths:
Light, has scissors that you can remove from unit.
    Weaknesses:
Not that durable. I had mine in my back pocket of my trousers for 3 months. It shows-the sliding part that lets you into the scissor compartment has broken and falls off regularly now, which is very annoying.
Bit overpriced, but my boyfriend just got one free at a job interview!
    Overall:
I got given this as a present for my round the world trip. I thought I'd never use it, but took it anyway as it is really light. I actually used it loads because the scissors and tweezers come in handy and it's less bulky to have on your person all the time than a penknife.

I particularly like that you can take the scissors out of the card for fiddly cutting. The knife is flimsy but we used it to spread our sarnies when desperate.

More of a tool for travelling rather than camping or hiking, but I think it's an extra worth bringing along. If it had a corkscrew and tin-opener I'd dump the army knife in favour of this and an ordinary decent knife.

'WALLET SIZED MULTI-TOOL, IDEAL FOR THE OFFICE!'
    Strengths:
Compact design. Good variety of tools.
    Weaknesses:
Poor grade steel on the knife.
    Overall:
Not bad but overpriced at £12-15. I got mine for £3.25 including postage from eBay!
