| Jingo Wobbly The Climbers Handbook to England & Wales |
|
 |
RRP: £19.95 Year: 2006 - 2007 Description: David Atchison Jones.
This Climber's Handbook contains all the useful information that any climber will need. The principle of the book is to give a clear and straightforward picture to all the climbing facilities and opportunities in any given area.
The book is split into two different halves. The front part is called the 'wet' section - (what you do when it is raining). Covered are indoor climbing walls, and places to go shopping for climbing gear, books etc; plus climbing club website leaders.
The second part - 'Dry' - of the guide lists most popular outdoor climbing venues and uses sensible and easy to follow icons to indicate the possibilities of the area, so that aspiring climbers need waste no time in getting on the rock.
A really useful guide that is a must for any UK climber.
