Description:

Matrix Light from Grivel is a feather weight ice tool for alpinists.

Hot forged head in chromolly steel. The angle of the shaft is high up as this maximises the distance between the shaft and the anchorage points. The straight lower section of the shaft makes penetration easier even in hard snow.

  • Chromolly steel construction.
  • Hot forged head.
  • Changeable blade with reverse positive angle.
  • Available with either a hammer head or an axe head.
  • Shaft resistance:- 400kg.
  • Friction strap grips on the side of the shaft.
The Matrix Light is suitable for UK and Alpine winter climbing and general technical alpinism to the highest standards.
