EXCELLENT VALUE BINOS

Light and compact
Very good quality optics
Rubber coated so quite tough
Adjustable for eye imbalance
Odd neckstrap attachment points - need to hang the binos 'the wrong way around' on your chest
Narrow field of vision but that's what you get with all x25 bins
I find a pair of binoculars invaluable on the hill. As well as spotting wildlife, they are great for scouting ahead, improving navigational accuracy.

I've had these Silvas for a few years now and they are great. The image quality is probably not as good as, say, Zeiss (no idea as I've never tried Zeiss optics) but more than adequate for general outdoor use. The adjustable eyepiece enables a sharp, truly binocular image and they are light and compact so easy to keep handy.
Good price too - only £25.
