Just the right size for practical use

Got the key tools for outdoors, lighter and easier to use than the monster big tools, legal to carry.
None I can find really, unless you are embarrassed to carry a Victorinox that's not the biggest.
My tool of choice to carry now. It has all I usually use in the outdoors (2 * blades, woodsaw, scissors, can and bottle openers, Corkscrew and tweezers). It has a few other bits too, but nothing much I use. The scissors and woodsaw I particularly like as they get through a lot of work for me and have retained their edges well.

If you are new to Victorinox (where have you been???), then the blades are good and sharp out of the box, and tend to stay that way. Rarely do they seem to need sharpening. Different order of magnitude in quality to the £5.99 multitools made in China you can get. These are made in Switzerland and you have to pay a bit for that.

GREAT KNIFE

A fab combination of tools without wasting space on unecessary bits but has all the goodens. Strong and lightish
Don't know whats with the hook, or the hole in the "citrus fruit peeler" (looked up the name of that tool in the dictionary)
Fab knife, good combination of tools, reliable.

GET ONE FROM THE GADGET SHOP FOR £15 IN THEIR SALE

The reputation and the quality.
Can't think of when I shall find a reason to use all the blades
I needed a knife to go in the rucksack, saw this just after Xmas and jumped at it.

Its a good knife

I have had my knife for ever (well, 15 years at least) and it is still going stong. Although I have never particularly abused it, the blades and saw still have an excellent edge. It has just about everything you need, and is not too big.
It cuts and saws, it opens beer and beans.
Its a versatile Swiss Army knife, what more is there to say?
I cannot get the replacement scissor spring in. But that might be me.
I like this knife as it has plenty of generally useful things, but no gimmicky bits. It does not pull your trousers down like some of the knives with 50 bits.
