EVERYTHING I WANT AND LITTLE THAT I DONT

locking blade so no more nipped fingers
wood saw...not sure how much use but i'd rather know its there
scissors...the most useful tool on a swiss knife but this is one of only two victorinox locking blade knives to have one and the other is HUGE(or so my research tells me)
tin and bottle openers...come in hand at times
moulded handle for extra comfort
quality of victorinox
has a little switch to release the blade rather than a piece of metal to pull to one side lick the old Victorinox LBs used too
screwdriver is vaguely pointless
quite big and heavy
questionable legality of carrying a three inch locking blade
has all the essential tools on one knife; bursting with quality and design thought i know it'll do what i want

fairly good value n all if you shop around

THE BIG RED ONE WITH THE STUFF ON THAT'S NECESSARY..........

-Just the thing in pretty much all likely situations)
-Well molded grip
-Looks handy...
-May be slighty too large for some and a touch weighty, the main blade is over 3 inches - which perhaps is not overly practical
-There is no way one could operate this with gloves on
As a keen mountain trecker, and gear freak I spent ages digging through web pages to find the right knife. The Outrider had all the specific tools that I wanted, and none of the pointless novelty extras.
One of its brother knives the 'Tradesman' recently got a good review in 'Trail Magazine', but had a pair of pliers instead of scissors, which I have no practical use for.

Buy it for value, and practicality...
