THE KNIFE MCGUYVER WOULD USE IF MCGUYVER USED A KNIFE
It's of very good quality (Swiss Made) The main blade is of a fully useable size, and locks Has all the functions you WILL use, but none of these that you never are going to use It's cheap (in price, but not in value!)
None so far
I carry this knife all day. It's, by far, one of the tools more use I give to. You can't realize how much useful a little knive like this can be, until you need to cut some walking stick out of a branch, uncork an unexpected bottle of cider, or just pull a prickle out of your finger (it comes with tweezers that work, indeed). Nowadays, Victorinox has revamped it with black scales and it's name has been changed to "Nomad", that in turn goes very well with it's nature. It's hard to believe that a quality and well tough knive like this can be so inexpensive. I think it's because the dispense of some other functions found in beefier multitools. But I don't think in this as a shortcoming, but an huge advantage. Sure a Leatherman or a SwissChamp have zillions of little gizmos [that you're unlikely to ever use], but weighing more than a ton, the problem is that most times you'd end leaving them at home. On the other hand, the Picknicker/Nomad is lightweight, and has just all the functions a normal person will use. The handle, being narrow and ergonomic, makes possible to do fairly hard work with the knife without hurting your hand. The blade itself is of generous size, and the steel it's made of allows easy sharpening with a stone. All in all, I think it's one of the best pocket knives for daily use or camping.

GREAT POCKET KNIFE
Beautifully manufactured Decent-sized locking blade Great corkscrew
None so far
There was a piece in The Guardian recently by some guy who reckoned that a Swiss Army knife was a jack of all trades and master of none. Well, he obviously had not used this knife. In short, everything on it works.
A great blade that locks in place (invaluable for safety) and it keeps an excellent edge, particularly so for stainless steel.
Very good corkscrew - I have used it to help out a barmaid when her lever pull cork screw failed.
Reamer / punch - more useful than you think. I have used it to craft a prize-winning pumpkin lantern when the plastic tools supplied proved unfit for purpose.
All the above come in a handle that fits the hand comfortably and makes the knife very easy to use, whatever tool you are using.
Ignore the politically-correct geeks who take a Leatherman into the field. A real outsdoorman/woman (thank you brother/sister) takes a knife. And you won't go far wrong with this baby.
