GOOD, BUT NOT FAULTLESS

Price, strength and weight.
Myself and two friends of mine have all had the same problem, with the grips working loose. Nothing that can't be fixed with tape & glue, but having used other pairs for years without this happening I do think there's a small defect here
For the money you can't fault them. As a fat git who's used them on snow, rock, ash and mud and they've coped with strain and various conditions admirably. The only issue I've had was easily fixed, so really I think they're splendid value.

LIGHT AND CHEAP

Light
Stiff
Cheap
Great service from Alpkit
A bit long when fully shortened
Rubber feet tend to come off, but it's £1.50 for a spare pair and free next day delivery so not much of a problem.
Great value lightweight poles

£35 A PAIR AND THE BEST CUSTOMER SERVICES I'VE COME ACROSS!

Very light, very cheap, take snow baskets and spares available (+ ultra-fast delivery)
Could possibly use better glue on handles and baskets. (Minor whinge- easily sorted.)
These poles are the bollocks!- Very light. Knackered the clamping mechanism useing the sections as tent pegs winter camping on Briariach. The spares cost a pound each, were dispatched postage free the day I ordered them and arived the next day. Great company. Give them your support. Most other companies would charge double for these poles and over the odds for spares. Alpkit rock!!
