AN EFFECTIVE BUT EXPENSIVE MOSQUITO REPELLANT

Repels a large number of insect types. Counter-intuitively, appears to be longer lasting on the skin than the 100% version - perhaps the base binds it to the skin better? Non-irritating on the skin and doesn't seem to attack plastic with the ferocity of the full-strength version. The spray is handy to apply.
Doesn't repel all insects, specifically sandflies and some kinds of tick. Needs to be applied carefully and thoroughly - any blank spots will be swiftly located by the mosquitoes. Very expensive, and seems to get used up in no time - you may be able to find cheaper Deet-based repellants at overseas destinations.
I've used this in many different environments, including jungle, and it seems to repel mosquitoes effectively, needing only one or two reapplicaions a day. However, locally-purchased Deet-based repellants were just as effective and several times cheaper. Remember it's not a full-spectrum repellant and that you will need to supplement with permethrin and oil where necessary.
