GREAT BIT OF KIT CLEVER

I also go mine from TKmaxx for cheaper bonus same size as my usual inslated mug n can make loose tea and coffee not had it that long but i've had no problems yet i even use it at home when i cant be bothered to use the filter matchine
a bit of a pain to empty but if you like 'proper' coffee i cant see away around it but it isnt a real problem im just being picky for the sake of it now
after a couple of cups i got the nack of the amounts need to make tea and coffee very nice works really well

HUNTED AROUND FOREVER FOR ONE OF THESE. A FINE BIT OF KIT !

Cheap at £4 from TKMaxx. Cafetiere and mug in one. Easy to use. Now I can take proper "black gold" anywhere i want. Or just use it an insulated mug for other drinks. Absolutely brilliant.
Top of plunger broke early on. But no big deal. Works fine without it, and the body and main bit of the plunger are bomproof.
Having great coffee anywhere i want makes a big difference to my weekends away. Had been trying to source one from the states (a better, more expensive one). TKMaxx still sell this, so get down there.
This is the only product i have ever bothered reviewing !.

ESSENTIAL CAMPING KIT FOR THE CAFFEINE GENERATION.

Works as an insulated mug as well as a cafetiere and is tough as old boots. Makes a perfect cup of coffee for one and keeps it warm in cold weather thanks to its insulated walls, for the same reason it doesn't fry your hands when you pick it up. You can pack this with coffee, powdered milk and sugar for a long weekend and the total volume used in your pack is less than a litre. When the plunger is pushed down it looks as if it is just a mug so you don't poke yourself in the eye when you drink from it.
I have had the tab on the top of the plunger break on one of these that I have owned - to be fair that wasn't me using it at the time so I don't know how much it was forced to do this (I have had one for 4 years and barring a few scuffs it is good as new). Every time I bring this out someone says 'that's brilliant where can I get one' so I have taken to bringing a spare to spread the goodness around.
This is not ultra-lightweight at 190g but is reasonable for a mug and definitely light for a cafetiere and mug combined (snow peak titanium coffee press is 180g on it's own).
Absolutely essential kit - a fresh cup of coffee for no more hassle than a cup of instant. Easy to clean and only two parts to the whole thing so nothing to go wrong really. I haven't handed out top marks in any other review but this definitely warrants it.
