Good, but could be better.
Comfortable, light, hard wearing, good heal and toe protection.
Gore-tex failed very quickly, slippery on hard surfaces
I bought the GTX version to avoid soaking feet on dewy mornings, but they offer no resistance to water at all, so I still wear my boots more often than I would like. After about 800 miles they are still in very good shape otherwise.
Wet tarmac can be like skating on an ice-rink, but grip is no problem normally.

BEST OF SEVERAL
Comfort and fit. Available in size 13.
Sole wears quite quickly.
Over recent years I have tried 4 different styles and manufacturers of approach shoes. These are the most comfortable, most waterproof and the most stylish by a mile; and not the most expensive!

COMFORTABLE AND WATERPROOF
Waterproof, comfortable and they look good.
None
I bought these shoes after reading a Which? report on waterproof shoes. They came out top of the approach shoes section for comfort and water resistance and i have not been disappointed. I have worn them on various wet and muddy camping trips and they have kept my feet completely dry. They are very comfortable for my large wide feet and I wear them every day. I have read that some people have had a problem with a lack of grip on smooth wet surfaces, but I have had no such problems. I will definitely be buying another pair of these.
