BEST VALUE FOR MONEY AVAILABLE.

Bombproof construction. shock cord closure at top sits nicely just below knee. Zip is covered by large velcro flaps folded so mud from between legs can't get in. The Version I have uses eVENT fabic so they are highly breathable. Have always had warm and dry lower legs.
popper at bottom can be hard to close sometimes. Can ride down a tiny bit due to flexibility.
Amazing piece of kit. lightweight, flexible, breathable, hardwearing and easy to stow in small outside pockets or on compression straps.

NOT TOO HEAVY OR TOO "SOLID"

They look OK. Only just received them through Amazon at a very good price. Not field tested them yet.
Cannot understand why they have both a zip and velcro. My last gaiters (worn out) had velcro only, which always stayed done up. The zip makes them heavier, more cost and a great deal more fiddly to put on. The legs seem too voluminous. The underfoot strap seems to be positioned too far forward, it is an inch in front of my heel, consequently the backs of the gaiters tend to ride up the back of my boots. If the strap was further back it would pull the rear of the gaiter down better.
I feel the design could be improved upon. Let's hope they perform OK.
