The years have taken their toll! Trekmates Double Shock Gel Footbeds to the rescue

Now experiencing pain after a few miles due to arthritis of the toe joints and dropping arches. Recommended to try a pair of these by the helpful staff in the Exmoor Rambler in Porlock.
Excellent cushioning effect where it matters. Purchased two more pairs from Trekmates on my return from holiday for dog walking and gardening boots.
The best I have found

THEY DO AS EXPECTED!

Initially the orange areas feel lumpy underfoot but once in action you can see why they are there - they cushion the contact points very well.

Fitted in my size 9 shoe with no trimming.
