COMFORTABLE, LIGHT, BUT NOT VERY DURABLE.

Good fit, very light, waterproof

A bit hot (XCR doesn't breathe that well here), sole not very durable

Nice fitting shoe. The durability is indicative of the design... it's a trail running/adventure sport type shoe. They don't last very long.
Would I buy it again? Maybe, if it was discounted.
It works best when alternated with another, or a third, pair of shoes.

A LOT OF MONEY FOR A LOT OF RUBBISH !

In their defence these shoes are very comfortable once worn a few times the quality is very good and well put together and stylish But ! !

The sole at first looks very good indeed but dont be fooled, I use mine for a walk to and from my local railway station every morning around eight miles in total every day and after only three months the soles are now on the point of being worn out to a point where they have now been put in the loft.

Having used numerious other shoes I found that The North Face seemed to suit my feet better than most My first pair being "Hedgehogs" which where light and seemed ideal for my needs but then I noticed the sole wearing badly so decided to go up market a little and treat myself to the North Face Ultras XCR 103 and as they say the rest is history. I have now moved onto Merrell which use a Vibram sole unit which is many times better that the TNF.
Would I ever buy any more North Face Shoes ? sadly no, Save your money and spend it else where.
