BEST BOOTS I EVER HAD

Instant comfort, lightweight, good ankle support
Stitching failed first
Still got 3 old pairs which get an airing from time to time. Unfortunatley Berghaus for some reason has stopped making them. Go on Berghaus, make em again!!

EXCELLENT UK UPLAND BOOT ... IF THEY FIT YOU

One of the very few boots that I found fitted adequately ... I have quite a narrow foot.

quite stiff ... can be used with crampons if necessary. Impressive waterproofness....even after 3 yrs of use.

Some exposed stitching between leather and fabric has just been repaired. Other people have found them not to have enough room in the toe department
Extremely good for 3-4 season hillwalking in the UK. Plenty of support and stiffness for rough terrain. Very compfortable "straight out of the box". As with all fabric/lether composites, not as durable as a good solid, uninterupted piece of leather.

VERY NICE 3 SEASON BOOT

Waterproof comfy hard wearing
Can get sore big toe on long decents.
I did the RAF benson walk with these straight out of the box no kidding. They haven't let me down and I am able to run in them. I recently proofed the upper as they were wetting out. Still didn't leak. Well pleased.

DECENT OUTER BOOT, POOR LEAKY LINING

Comfortable from new, good support and decent sole.
My second pair of these gore tex lined boots have started leaking. They are(just)over a year old but have not had that much use considering the price. Berghaus aren't interested - I tried.
As I said, a good boot at the start, but they don't seem to last
