Brasher Lithium XCR

I have had these boots for 5 months and last Sunday, on their 8th outing, the waterproofing failed after 2 hours, leaving me with soggy feet for the remaining 4 hours. That is after only 50 hours of use.

It is a real shame, as they are very comfortable and give good grip (we were on Crib Goch in the rain, which is very slippy in places and they provided stable footholds).

I have tried the tap water test and the level in the boot drops about an inch in half an hour - so they really are leaking like a sieve !!

The problem is around the point where the rubber toe surround joins the fabric top, especially where your foot bends.
