COMFORTABLE

Extremely comfortable, lightweight. Good for a person who has a wider front of foot (other shoes cramp my little toe). Great traction in the dry, in the wet depends on surface.
Wont last forever (you pay for what you get)
These were my first hiking boots. I bought in 06 for hiking but have used them as everyday shoes, motorcycle boots and hiking boots for the last 2 years. The soles are now worn, completely on some parts, and the seams are splitting at the lower front side of the shoe. One shoe is still 'mostly' waterproof, the other isnt.

The two qualities I was after when I bought these boots were comfort and lightweight and these boots exceeded my expectations in both. They perhaps don't last as long as others on here wish, but consider they're the cheapest in Raichle line and they were not designed for the more ambitious trekkers.

VERY DISAPPOINTED

Very comfortable straight out of the box
Leak like a sieve, stitching coming apart, poor grip on wet ground, soles wearing very quickly.
I have had these boots for about two years. I bought them during a hot dry spell and and didn't use them in wet conditions until I had had them for a few months. The right boot leaks after about an hours use in wet conditions.
I have just completed the Coast to Coast walk in them and the seams on the fabric of both boots have started to come apart, the soles are showing signs of wear and are, in places, parting company with the uppers. And of course they leak!
Couldn't recommend them.

FALL APART

Very comfortable
The sole falls to bits and leaks. But this is not a problem with just this Raichle boot. They are always really comfy, but very soon leak and the soles fall to bits.
Find another make of boot until they learn how to make good boots on a par with a swiss watch.

DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!

Look decent. (but don't they all!)
Tread is far too shallow.

This company have steadily made headway on Scarpa in the mountain boot range but these have given their reputation a knock.

POOR QUALITY

Comfortable
Light
Leak in after a few months
Very poor quality.
Hot to feet.
When I first purchased these boots I thought they were great. Unbelievably comfortable and light. But after only 3 months light use and one journey in mountainous terrain they were leaking in badly and the rubber on the heel came away. I returned them to the shop and purchased a pair of Maindl Burma leather boots. Only buy if you walk on grass and cinder tracks.
