just purchased a pair of these from go outdoors, i ad to send back my mammut sierra gtx as even 2nd pair leaked , so while on 15% off everything i bought these salomons for £121 less 15% at the time but £121 again now.
straight away they fit like a glove, supportive but not tight, locking lace eyes work well too, i found them a little uncomfortable when lace to the top but i never lace that high normal so its fine.
so far they seem completley waterproof as gtx should be and the tread offers fantastic grip of wet grass as well as rocks.
sole firm enough to give support but also flexible enough to be easy on steep scrambles too.
all in all. seem like best boots i have owned so far.
