LET DOWN BY THE LEATHER RAND SPLITTING...GOT MY MONEY BACK

Extremely comfortable from day 1.
eVent lining provided good water-proof properties.
The leather rand is not flexible or study enough
Returned my first pair after about 50 miles in 1 month due to a split in the leather rand at the crease point where my foot flexes just back from the toe line.
The pair were replaced without any quibble.
The second pair have also failed in the same place so they were returned and obtained my money back.
I'm told they are now discontinued and it was a good job I kept the receipt as they were reduced from £70 to £39 on clearance at the end.
It's a pity as I was impressed with the comfort and fit.
The eVent lining worked well with no soggy socks after the occasional foot ducking.
