GREAT ALL-ROUND WALKING BOOT

Comfort straight off the bat.
Well made, solid boot.
Stiff enough with great support, but not too stiff
Lacing can be fiddly in the cold
All things considered, I've found these boots to be excellent. Sure, they're heavyish, but they're virtually bomb-proof as a result. They've got a phenomenal blend of stiffness, support and flexibility. I've used mine in the Lakes, Beacons, Drakensbergs (South Africa), Umfolozi GR (also SA), and Canadrian backcountry, and not once have I had a blister or reason to complain with these on my feet.
