LIKED MY OLD ONE BETTER

SAMES PREV REVIEW
SAME AS PREV REVIEW
WELL I EVENTUALLY BOUGHT A RED AND BLACK MUNRO, HAD TO GO FOR XL THIS TIME AS I SEEM TO HAD PUT ON SOME MUSCLE (MY EXCUSE) MATERIAL SEEMS A LITTLE LIGHTER THAN BEFORE, NO TAPES ON THE ZIPS ALTHOUGH THEY ARE NOW THE WATER RESISTANT TYPE LIKE I HAVE ON MY RAB GEAR. I SEE NO REASON WHY THIS SHOULD NOT LAST ME YEARS AS WELL. I STILL THINK THAT THESE ARE CRACKING JACKETS AND IF YOU LOOK AFTER THEM THEY WILL LOOK AFTER YOU.

GREAT VALUE WINTER / COLD WATHER WEAR

Cut/ fit perfect , hard wearing got mine for £50 at keela sale . can't fault it at that price, have paid more for fleeces.
Tad heavy But as most of my jackets are Paramo not too bothered about lightweight stuff. Not found one yet.....oh not as breathable as Paramo.
Great value , matches the performance of Goretex etc. Not for lightweight buffs but would recomend . ( especially at £50 !)

TOP GEAR

Virtually indestructable (So far).
A tad heavy ! but you kit out and pack your bergan for your activity, if its to heavy for the job then pack a light weight shell.
I have used and abused my munro for many years, It's looking a bit worn and tired now but has never leaked like a tea strainer and does not take to long to dry out (obviously the wind helps), I use grangers or comfort fabric conditioner. Yes it it can be to hot for yomping over the hills in warmer weather despite pit zips etc, but in driving rain or sleat on one of those days when you wonder why did not stay at home, it exceeds expectations. I am going to buy another, this time in red as mine is all black and it makes me look like Police or a security guard.

EXCELLENT!

Warm, venting, large hood, tottally waterproof, high end features and low price.
small map pocket
I have used this jacket for cold weather trad climbing, mixed and alpine. Its totally waterproof and tough. This is one of the best moutaineering and ice climbing jackets I have ever owned. Excellent for layering as the cords draw the garment in closer when only a baselayer is used underneath. Buy this jacket larger than your size for outstretched arm length when climbing as the exact size means the arms will come up short when stretching out for holds. An awesum piece of design and should be a top seller! I can only assume that people dissing this product work for a rival company? You can pick this jacket up for about £105. It will last for years but remember to re-proof it when u wash it correctly.... mountain rescue and the military use it and you cant say better than that :-)
