NOT BAD FOR THE PRICE
weight, pack size
not as breathable as a 4th place in a magazine would have you think.
It aint a bad jacket, but i think when it dies a death i may be spending a little more.

EXTREMELY LIGHT, BREATHES LIKE CLINGFILM
Very light, scrunches up small.
About as breathable as a plastic mac (and, admittedly, as waterproof), a big disappointment. I bought this largely on the glowing reports it received in Country Walking and Trail magazines. Well, even wearing a 'wicking' layer underneath and opening the zips for ventilation, the inside of the jacket always ends up clammy and damp. Like a previous reviewer, I too prefer my ancient Sprayway Goretex jacket.
Deeply unimpressed. If it doesn't do the job then it cannot be deemed 'good value' at any price.

NOT BAD
Weight, packs away so small, waterproof, breathable.
Not very breathable. Hood is a bit pants. Velcro catches on mesh inside jacket.
A good wee jacket that weighs very little and packs down very small. I suppose for the money and due to the design you can't expect something that breaths really well or has a good hood.

OUTPERFORMED BY PERTEX TOPS AT HALF THE PRICE
Good hood, reflective piping, taped seams = waterproof, pretty rugged, light, packs down well.
Too warm for running & biking, doesn't breathe, pockets are a nightmare, odd sizing.
I bought this as a do-everything lightweight waterproof but found it to be too warm for the running and biking that I wanted to use it for. The Triple-point fabric does not breathe well at all and I find that I often take my ancient Sprayway windproof in preference. Pockets are badly designed such that velcro tabs self close or attach to tabs at the end of the sleeve trapping your hand in your pocket. Also pocket insides are mesh so wind blows straight through on cold days when you have your hands in them and give no ventilation on warm days as they velcro themselves shut. I think a Montane windproof at £40 would have been a better bet.

ADRENALINE TECH JACKET A BETTER OPTION
Lightweight, waterproof, pitzips, drawcords, hood, venting pockets, reflective piping
Hood doesn't roll away, fit too loose
I bought one of the last of these before Lowe stopped production. A great improvement over the Adrenaline, the Tech version has pit-zips and other refinements. For me, the fit is slightly too loose (flaps around in the wind), but other than that unbeatable for cycling, running, and most outdoor use. Packs away so small. Try to get one on sale from the US if possible.
