EXCELLENT

Fit,Shape,Features,Reinforced area ,Hood
Sleeve pocket(whats that about
Slightly baggy upper sleeve
Had this jacket about a year now and although its paclight/xcr wore it right through winter last year only on a couple of occasions (in the Cairngorms) felt the cold.I'm 6'1" and have the XL and have also had a helmet on it seems to fit nicely .I've never been soaked in it but have felt damp on occasion after long cold and wet days in scottish hills.ohwell.by the way only paid £107.

DISAPPOINTED/CONFUSED

Lightweight, good fit, hood.
The jacket seems to allow water to wick up the sleeves after even a short period of time.
apart from the issue with water getting up the sleeves I like it.

EXCELLENT BIT OF KIT

light, quality, hood fit, good fit for non-knuckle draggers, good length of jacket (not too short), lasts well
None, except Storm colour is very dark grey not black (which is what all good clothing should be!)
100% waterproof. Bomb proof - I have used it for many winter walking trips in snow and rain without a problem. Less breathable than paclite, but much more durable. Can get a bit damp when it really gets soaked, but this is always due to sweat rather than leaks - underarms, back etc rather than shoulders, zip areas etc. I've used mine for nearly 50 days so far (in 2.5 years) and seen no degredation in performance, nothing has failed (except for one zip tag that fell off and I simply replaced - not the metal bit, the material pull bit). Still keeping its water repellancy (without being renewed, though I note it is not beading as well as new jackets others wear). Never been washed, which might explain it - though it gets a sponge down if it looks dirty.

VERY GOOD

Lightweight, Lovely burnt orange colour, good pockets, brilliant hood, long cut, looks very technical (and it is!)
bit baggy if you need a larger size for arm length, can run abit sweaty
Very good jacket, although now I would want to try an eVent jacket.
