Mountain Equipment Kalanka Jacket
ME's new hood is a corker. It's designed to be big enough to hold a helmet and still allow full head movement and decent coverage of the face to protect against frost-bite and spindrift.

Need to know

Highly effective new generation helmet hood, ingenious water-right zips, neat detailing, affordable for Stretch Pro Shell if not in absolute terms.

Sleeves are very long, fiddly hem cord adjusters and while £350 is on the ball for the expensive stretch fabric, it's still not cheap.
