Great piece of kit - for winter

Pump liner to keep the rain out
windproof
great hood
robust
very adjustable
extremely warm!
heavy-ish
too warm to wear outside of winter (for me)
back rides up sometimes even with toggle adjusted
expensive unless in the sale
Yes, this is a seriously good piece of kit. It is great in cold conditions whether they are dry or wet. I find that the pump liner is normally good enough to keep the rain out although wetting out is a possibility in very heavy + persistent rain. Its too warm for me to wear outside of winter and a bit big and bulky to carry in the sack. It therefore only comes out normally for late autumn day trips or winter camping or day trips.
I have had mine for 3 years and it is remarkably hardwearing. I got mine for £99 in a sale so I think that was a bargain but some may find full price a bit steep.
The hood is excellent being cinchable and having a very decent wire brim and also there is a good lower face/beard guard for icy whipping wind.
Although I only wear it in the winter, it is a very useful bit of kit and I have great confidence in it when i do use it

FINE UNTIL IT RAINS

Cosy
Windproof
Keeps you reasonably dry IF you reproof it very frequently
Very irritating detachable hood
Only keeps you dry if you are active
You will look like a sack of potatoes
Fell seriously out of love with mine and sold it on. Only useful for high -activity days. If you are standing around, you will get cold and wet and stay that way. Also proofing fails suddenly - waterproof one day, soaks up water like a sponge the next, which could well be mid-trip !

COMFORT

great waterproofing,and the best breathability.
too short at the front, hood gives little protection, lower pocket too difficult to use.
this is a great jacket, never lets the water in and very breathable.as with all paramo waterproofs needs care and attention to keep it clean and reproofed as only a very clean jacket keeps the rain out.hood is way too small and gives little face protection in head on rain.front is too short and rides up,fine for use with harness but not in a storm.the side zips broke on mine after not much use,but paramo replaced the whole jacket!love the high collar.I use it for sports but use my trusty old cascada for bad weather as its longer.
