Expensive jacket let down by poor details

3 layer Goretex, so indestructible. Food big chest pockets.

Like a grouchy butler, this jacket does everything it is supposed to do, but begrudgingly. The zip never catches first time, the pit zips are fiddly, the hood NEVER adjusts right and the elastic pings you in the face/eye all the time. In the cold and wind you just don't need this. The only reason I used this jacket for so long was because it cost so much. Now I have another jacket I'm sort of fond of it, because I don't have to rely on it when the chips are down, and I can lend it to people for walks in the park.

Expensive, good material, poor design. Now mercifully deleted. The people at Sprayway were nice when I winged about it, though.
