WHY PAY MORE ?

Used over a Buffalo whilst skiing/hiking in appaling snow/rain conditions it kept me totally dry from the elements and from my own perspiration. The cut of the jacket is generous and does not restrict movement that i have encounterd with other paclites
The cut could be a little longer in lenghth and movement creates a peculier 'plastic bag' sound. The side pockets can be difficult close due to the storm flap getting stick in the zip
Got mine for £75 in a sale and it has taken all that the lakes and alps can through at it. It will make an excellent light weight wind proof jacket for summer outings. Deff value for money

GOOD VALUE PACKABLE COAT FOR TOWN AND MOUNTAIN

Will keep you dry in the wettest conditions and is very breathable. The material although light is very durable and looks like it will stand up to a good amount of wear. Waterproof zips work very well and can be left open for extra venting an drier days.It also makes an excellent coat for wearing down the pub or general about town use.
Not a lot but sleeves are VERY long. I ended up buying a medium because the sleeves on the large size reached my finger tips. A bit of microfleece on the hood around the chin would make it more comfortable. The waist line drawcords are located inside the pockets which can be a bit fiddly to get at (almost impossible with Gloves on)
I bought this jacket about 3 months ago for £90 and at the time was considering the Berghaus Paclite.Eventually went for the Sprayway as although heavier and not as small to pack it is well made and would seem to be more robust.(It was also £50 cheaper!)I like long sleeves but these are way too long. I have worn it in the mountains on a day of continuos rain and severe gales and remained totally dry and not too sweaty. Overall a good value coat for extreme use and also around the town.

Pretty ace

Well made, very breathable and waterproof. The hood is brilliant (as is constant with Sprayway. It's also incredibly light ( I've worn a few XCR jackets and the difference is astounding). The arms are also nice and long which is good for arm mobility (if you want to climb in it).
The cut may be a bit short for some.
Overall I've worn this jacket alot (winter and summer) over the past two years and it's not been beaten yet. It keeps out wind and water and it's so light you don't notice it when it's in your bag.
