Wouldn't even look at another soft-shell jacket!

Really comfortable, Highly breathable, windproof, water resistant. High felixibility; the jacket just feels right, other softshells that i've owned felt rigid like a hard shell, the pertex equilibrium jacket is genius! I've been tempted by some snazzy haglofs and arcteryx, but deep down I know that this will be 10 times better and after 2 years it still doesn't require changing.
Slight niggle, but then it's probably my fault for over indulging with the chocolate hobnobs - the zip starts to ride up from the bottom. Also the sleeves seem too long and tend to bunch in a ball by the wrists.
If you're lookin for a softshell, definately try one of these. Even when it starts getting hot I can still keep this on and feel comfortable. It never seems to get damp from sweat even after a long walk or cycle. My missus couldn't understand why I needed another jacket at £100, but 2 years later I still wear it nearly everyday, whilst shes been through a dozen designer jackets. The quality is immense.
